How I spent my hari raya 2009

My hari raya celebration lasted for 2 days the most, this year.
Petang raya pukul 11 aku dah resah gelisah.
jam 12 aku ke Four Seasons hotel pick up TKP MAMPU, then we head off for a round of golf di Twin Lakes with En Mazlan and Pangeran Zuffri from the Brunei's embassy.
On the way balik, I had a chance to pick En Rahim's brain - and he surely is a bright guy with sharp mind.
Tumpang mandi kejap at his room and then we went to En Isham (MITI's director) for dinner.

The next day, I was planning to play another round with Pangeran Zuffri but since I'll be driving off to New Jersey in the afternoon, I decided to put that on hold for the time being.
So aku pegi open house kat rumah Pn Nasreen, instead. That was the one and only open house I went to so far. There will be more this weekend and the next though.. so no worries.

Since aku akan drive sorang ke New Jersey, I thought having some people together will be more fun. So aku ajak Engku Rashdi and Mishail to go to Philly together. Dapat jugak jumpa Fendi kat sana. They are all doing their Masters degree at U Penn and I am so jealous with that fact. Bila la aku punya turn ni.

I drove off to Somerset, New Jersey sebab hotel kat situ lagi murah and just 20 mins drive to the golf course. Hotel kat area golf course tu semuanya $150 ke atas. Aku bermalam di Days Inn dengan harga $70 dollar semalaman - nak tumpang mandi je pun yang penting nya. Tidur kat mana2 pun aku layan.

Esoknya awal2 lagi aku dah sampai ke golf course. Fiddler Elbow's the course name. It's private and it's a very beautiful course. Tenang dan damai - dan aku orang yang mula-mula sampai. Tu pun dah sesat dekat 10 minit cari tak jumpa sebab pintu masuk dia betul2 sebelah exit from the highway. Kinda missed the sign. It was good because I had a chance to talk to Zayo's president sebab tak ada orang lain sampai lagi kan. Sembang panjang la kami.

I'll write more about the golf tournament if I feel like it.
Oh yea.. I've got my hari raya present at 1100 in the morning by winning the putting contest. I was reading all my long putt wrong actually, but luckily my 5 feet range putt were good. So I 2-putted all 3-holes in the contest to tie for 5-ways 50-foot putt tie-break. (that's a lot of '-' in one sentence). I was the closest to the pin with 6 feet and 2 inches and that was enough to win me a brand new Callaway FT-9 Series Tour Driver (MRSP $560). Seronok la raya tahun ni. Might wanna sell it though.. nak frame macam besar sangat pulak.
