It was quite a trip.. memorable one as well.
They had a Malaysian Night.
Well the motto selected was "A Night to Remember... something something
Surely memorable for me because I have chosen that same motto for one of the celebrations in MRSM Taiping, back in year 2000.
Penn State friends did a good job in organizing the event.
They worked together well and split the tasks to get everyone involved in the event.
That's the way to do it :)
The day after those Banghra, Zapin and etc etc people had captured the heart of hundreds of people, we had a 7-aside soccer tournament on a turf field.
I played as well even though I was not a hundred percent recovered from my cold/flu.
That was the day I've found out that I could not run for more that 10 minutes anymore.
Man... I wonder when was the last time I had a good exercise.
Maybe more than 3 months ago.
I seriously need to exercise more - and you know what?
The first thing that came into my mind was to buy a bicycle to ride to work like I did a year ago.
Am I a shophaholic or what?
I should have thought about jogging.. or play tennis.. well something than does not require me to buy something new.
Anyway, I also managed to injure my left ankle once again by putting too much pressure to it when I was not supposed to.
It was a kind of achievement wasn't it?
As a result, I am going to miss my first Sunday League game next week and maybe even the week after.
Well done Taufiq.
Another crazy thing I did, as soon as I arrived home at 3:00 pm,
I rushed to Jefferson Golf Course - which is walking distance from my room - even though I still drove there because of laziness.
I haven't been playing for quite some time and the weather was too nice not to play. It was low 60's at that time.
There I met Jo from Vietnam, William and Sam from China.
Played together on the 9-hole course - took us about 1 and 1/2 hour to finish.
My first game after not playing for a while wasn't bad at all.
I managed to bogeyed the first till third hole,
triple-bogeyed the fourth, bogeyed the next four holes, and par the last hole.
I guess I was so happy that I didn't even realized that my coughing had stopped abruptly while I was playing..
and seriously, I felt a lot better now compared to last week.
Was it because of the golf? Or because I played soccer the day before?
Well ok... the reason, actually, because Allah said that I will be feeling better on Sunday at 5:00 pm.
But normally, we will always be busy looking for another reason to support the logic.
Afterwards, I went to abe Adi's to watch Tiger.
He is so darn good... can't describe how impressed I was.
Had 3 bowl's of Maggi there - which I savored until I can't eat no more.
Kenyang sampai esok hari.
I slept quite late that night, considering that I just came back from a 4-hour journey,
tersedar once in a while at night bangun mengurut kaki, and ultimately slept at around 2.
Woke up at 6:30, lepak-lepak, mandi, baring balik, balas email and read some blogs before I go to work.
I had a malas-malas day at work - although I managed to get a lot of things done.
It's almost 8:00 pm now so I think I should better go home now and get some more sleep.
I think I might be dreaming of Maggi tonight.
