I got quite addicted to foursquare check in. Well that's not a new thing. Account was created for quite a while now.
Tgh nak tidur ni terfikir pula a few improvement.
1. Auto check-in.
-script yg boleh run every 10 mins, for example.
This will be quite annoying kalau asyik terpapar dekat status facebook. Penuh wall dengan check in.
But....
Utk org2 famous, artis, pemberita, sportsmen, yg mencari glamour. This could be good thing - sampai lah mereka dah naik rimas dan tak mahu org tahu di mana mereka berada lagi.
Utk hikers and adventurous, this could be their saviour. People could know where there are and kalau dah 3-4 hari dok check in tempat sama, either the equipment jatuh, or they are in trouble. Tapi a lot of places where they go to tak ada coverage phone kot.
So boleh introduce check-in function for gps equipment. Ni maybe dah ada cuma aku x familiar.
2. Request to check in
-run every 30 mins-1 hour
-or whenever you move to a new place and stay there for more than 10 mins
Selalunya lupa nak check in.
So boleh run script;
if new_geolocation=yes,
andif timeat_geolocation=>10_mins,
request_checkin=enable;
so nanti keluar pop up tanya do you want to check in here?
Lepas tu pilih exact location.
3. Check in for golfers
-run on every new holes
Mcm menarik je rasanya. Balik rumah boleh review berapa lama we stayed at every holes.
4. Check in on Nike's running gps tracker
-letak a button on ipod or controller yg mcm wristwatch tu, dedicated for check in. A single touch, and user will be checked in.
